The public has the opportunity to participate in the competitioin not only by following the competitors’ progress from the comfort of their own home, but also by joining in on the open day skiing and the Saturday evening event.

Follow the race remotely

Natlink Oy, the company behind the Tracker and WeHunt brands, has been promoting the safety of the Games through its positioning system for years. The same system also allows you to follow the races from the comfort of your own home.

Following is free of charge, which means it also works without a license. Your location is not visible to others.

Instructions

  1. Download and install the Tracker app from Google Play or the App Store.
  2. Join the Umpihanki2026 group in the Tracker application. You can also join with the code GOLEPUDYDO.

Participate in the open day skiing

Saturday, February 7th, 9 am – 6 pm

For those participating in the day skiing, transportation will be arranged from the competition center to the selected starting point, from where they will ski following the competition route to the night camp.

At the night camp, skiers have the opportunity to participate in an evening event, where they can enjoy an unsurpassed atmosphere, soup and coffee.

There will be transportation from the night camp to the competition office. In addition, participants will receive a participation medal as a memento of the day.

Attend the evening event

The public has the opportunity to attend the evening event organized at the night camp on Saturday evening, where they can enjoy the atmosphere created by dozens of campfires, soup and coffee.

There is a bus transport to the night camp. The details  will be specified later.
